Getting to Know Tom Breck

We’re thrilled to welcome Tom Breck as the newest Community Manager at Workspace! Tom will be overseeing our Braintree and Canton locations, bringing his enthusiasm and expertise to both communities.

A graduate of Emerson College with a degree in Stage and Production Management, Tom spent several years in LA before returning to Massachusetts to build a career closer to home.

I recently had the chance to sit down with Tom to learn more about his background, experiences, and what drives his passion.

What inspired you to join Workspace, and what excites you most about managing both the Canton and Braintree locations?

I'm excited to cultivate a community through authentic shared experiences and small moments. Being able to work at both Canton and Braintree just means I can build even more relationships between all the coworking residents and myself.   

Can you share a bit about your background and how your past experiences have prepared you for this role?

I spent 10+ years working in entertainment and production in different management roles…including 3 years of managing a studio in Los Angeles.

When you're not at Workspace, what are some of your favorite things to do in the area?

When not at Workspace, I am in Boston working at various theaters as a stage manager/tech operator. 

What's a fun fact about you that most people wouldn’t guess?

I'm a big cinephile. I'm always watching something and always willing to talk about whatever has come out recently in theaters.
