Where exactly is Workspace Braintree?+
Workspace Braintree is at 150 Grossman Drive, directly off Route 3, about a mile from the Braintree T station and South Shore Plaza. The building is easy on/off Route 3 for South Shore members and a straight commuter-rail ride from South Station for members coming out of Boston.
Is Workspace Braintree really private-office-only?+
Yes, Braintree is the one Workspace location that doesn't offer coworking. The footprint is seven thousand square feet and it's built top-to-bottom as private offices for solos and small teams. If you need a coworking seat on the South Shore, Hingham and Canton both offer it; for the North Shore it's Beverly or Cohasset.
Who works at Workspace Braintree?+
A healthy mix of solo professionals and small teams. About forty percent of our offices are held by teams of two to six people. Industries we see a lot of: finance, insurance, logistics, law, CPA and tax practices, and mental-health practitioners.
What's the commute like from Boston, Quincy, and the South Shore?+
Braintree is our commuter location by design. The MBTA commuter rail and Red Line both stop in Braintree with direct service to South Station, and Route 3 is right at the door. Members regularly commute in from Quincy, Milton, Weymouth, Hingham, Hanover, Marshfield, and Boston itself.
How does Braintree compare to Workspace Hingham or Canton?+
Braintree is the right choice when quick access to Boston matters, commuter rail and Route 3 are right there. Hingham is central to the South Shore with coworking and a headquarters feel. Canton is on the Route 128 corridor with coworking and an audience that pulls from surrounding towns. If you need coworking, Hingham or Canton is the call. If you want a lockable private office close to the city, Braintree wins.
Is the building new? Any ongoing improvements?+
The building is under new ownership with an active investment program, new elevators, a renovated lobby, and continued upgrades. The renovated lobby is a real asset when clients arrive for meetings.
Is the internet secure enough for an attorney, CPA, or mental-health practitioner?+
Standard member Wi-Fi is business-grade and encrypted. For attorneys, CPAs, financial professionals, and HIPAA-sensitive practices we offer Workspace SecureConnect, a dedicated private network (VLAN) isolated from general traffic, $75/month. Several Braintree members are on SecureConnect today.
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?+
No. Every Workspace agreement is tenant-at-will with sixty-day notice. If you sign for six months we waive the first month, but it's never a requirement.
