Getting to Know Justin Moran – Founder & Owner of Workspace

When Justin Moran first launched Workspace, he wasn’t just starting a company—he was living the same experience as many of the solopreneurs and remote professionals Workspace supports today.

At the time, Justin was a one-man operation, working from a single desk fueled by ambition and a vision. Like so many entrepreneurs, he struggled to find a productive and affordable work environment. Home was full of distractions. Coffee shops were noisy. Traditional office leases were rigid and costly.

That personal frustration sparked a solution. In August 2015, Justin took over the South Shore Business Center and reimagined it as Workspace—a place built for flexibility, community, and growth. What began as a single suite of offices in Hingham, Massachusetts, has since evolved into a thriving network of five locations.

Today, Justin has grown the flagship Hingham location from one to three suites and operates three other South Shore locations in Braintree, Canton, and Cohasset. In a bold move to expand north of Boston, Justin opened his first North Shore location in Beverly in September 2024--after months of research and scouting for the perfect location. Currently, across all five locations, Workspace offers nearly 200 private offices, multiple coworking areas and meeting rooms, and serves more than 300 members.

Workspace’s steady growth reflects not only the changing nature of work but the leadership of an experienced and passionate entrepreneur. Justin brings decades of expertise as a sales and marketing executive and has successfully launched and operated businesses across a variety of industries. He remains deeply involved in every facet of Workspace, overseeing daily operations across all locations and ensuring that every member feels welcomed, supported, and inspired.
