WORKSPACE taking over operations

We are so excited to finally be sharing some exciting news that’s been in the works for some time. Workspace is adding another South Shore location to our flexible office space offerings with an expansion into Cohasset, MA.

Starting August 1, 2022, we will be operating Work Station! The expansion is going to add 36 private offices, 3 meeting rooms, and a spacious and well-appointed common area for coworking to our existing offerings in Hingham, Canton, and Braintree.

Needless to say, Workspace owner Justin Moran, was thrilled when Joy and Rick Schiffmann, founders of Work Station nearly a decade ago, agreed that Workspace would be a natural fit to take over their business. “This is a fantastic opportunity to expand the Workspace offerings,” he says. “The Work Station community operates just like Workspace does in many ways. Welcoming their members and community manager to our family will be seamless and exciting!”

“Rick and Joy created a first-class flexible office environment that has always been the envy of many in our industry, including myself. I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism, honesty, and integrity over the last several months. This acquisition means so much for Workspace. I look forward to what the future holds!”

While we are confident that our future will be bright, in the short term, we are looking forward to working with the local professionals that already call Work Station their home away from home and, more importantly, Kerry Theodore, their loyal community manager. We are equally excited to welcome new members to the Workspace community at Work Station so please share this news with anyone in need of an office with flexible terms, a comfortable coworking spot for a day or two, or a meeting room.

If you’re not already familiar with Work Station, it is conveniently located steps from the Cohasset MBTA commuter rail stop and just off Route 3A in Old Colony Square — which is also home to other great, local businesses including  Olympus Grille, The Daily Press Juice Bar, Barrel & Vine, and South Shore Athletic Club. A perfect one-stop location to slay your work goals for the day, hit the gym, grab a post-workout smoothie, and pick up takeout and a bottle of wine for dinner before your short commute home.
